The religious unrest in India's Orissa state has taken a deadly direction as a nun was killed when Hindu hardliners torched an orphanage run by Christian missionaries. A priest was seriously injured in the attack as well.

Dr. Phillip Butler attended the U.S. Naval Academy with Senator John McCain, and he was also a Prisoner of War with McCain in Vietnam. Butler recently gave reasons as to why he will not vote for McCain to be the President of the United States.

Xbox 360 and its game publishers showed off its new and upcoming titles at an annual event for gaming journalists. Shoot-em-up fans took in early looks of Gears of War 2, sporty gamers tried out NHL 09 and NBA 2K9, and karaoke stars tried out Rock Band 2.

The Toronto Blue Jays were due for a butt-kicking. David Purcey vs. Andy Pettitte was really a no-contest from the get go. Purcey struggled, Pettitte was effective, and the Jays bats were eerily silent yet again.

Another portion of the Beijing Olympics has been exposed as being faked. The opening ceremony included a segment which supposedly showed children from 56 different ethnic groups. The problem is, they were all from the same ethnic group.
