Apple has launched the fourth major version of its watchOS platform for the Apple Watch. It features more of an emphasis on fitness capabilities than previous iterations, including the option of smart activity coaching. There's also a new Siri watch face.

A few days behind schedule, Apple has launched the second-generation version of its Apple Watch software. WatchOS 2 is available to download now and includes several new features designed to expand the functionality of the Apple Watch.

Apple opened its San Francisco event today with an update on Apple Watch. It claimed the device has 97 percent customer satisfaction before launching an updated WatchOS which gives app developers more control and access to a broader array of sensors.
