At last! The Costa Concordia to be towed from Giglio this week

Within about 48 hours the Costa Concordia, the 114,500 tonnes former luxury liner now known the world over, will move forward for the first time since Jan. 13, 2012. After 2 1/2 years the island of Giglio in the Tuscan Bay will have its view back.

Costa Cruises erects website detailing Costa Concordia removal

The company that owns the Costa Concordia, Costa Cruises, has put up a website detailing the progress of the salvage operation. The ship sank off the shore of the Italian island of Giglio on Jan. 13 and is being refloated.
