Zhytomyr - It was the end of a long journey for bear cub Nastia after she was finally released into a new sanctuary in Zhytomyr, Ukraine. But the move was bitter sweet for the young bear when the Lutsk zoo refused to part with Nastia's mother.

Zhytomyr - An illegally sold bear cub is about to get a new home at a bear sanctuary. Nastia was illegally sold by the Lutsk Zoo to traders last May. After months of recovery, Nastia and her mother will be moved on Nov. 8.

Vinnytsya - A bear cub ripped from her mother at the Lutsk Zoo in Ukraine remains traumatized and unable to be reunited with her mother, but there is hope for the two bears, Four Paws is building them a new sanctuary.
