NASA is under siege from Earth’s less focused vegetables on the subject of whether the world is about to end. Thanks to that stupid movie 2012, adults are now wondering if the world is about to end. It’s not. The world isn’t that lucky.

As December 21st approaches, archaeologists and anthropologists are trying to convince those who believe the end of the world is a little more then two months away that the end of the Mayan calendar was not a prediction of the end of the world.

Contrary to prior popular belief, the Mayans did not mark December 21, 2012 as the end of the world as their oldest calendar has been unearthed. In fact, the planet has quite a bit of time left and nobody living today will have to fear doomsday at all.

With the New Year comes another prophecy. On Dec. 21, 2012, the world will end ... again. But before there is a mass rush to donate the house and the car to charity, NASA calls the prophecy poppycock.

Mexico -
The Mexican National Institute of Anthropology and History have admitted that they have a second reference to the date 2012 as "end of the world" on a carved fragment found at an archaeological site in southern Mexico.
