The Montreal Canadiens and the Toronto Maple Leafs don't need any added motivation when playing one another but on Saturday they'll have it. For Toronto, their season is on the line, while for Montreal, well, Toronto's season is on the line.
Whether Maple Leafs GM Brian Burke was trying to light a fire under his goalies, or whether he just had his mouth run away from him in frustration can't be known, but the walking quote that Burke is took a shot at his own goalies on Feb. 22.
This was supposed to be the season of James Reimer, the year the young Toronto Maple Leaf goalie got his team over the hump after 7 straight springs without the Leafs taking part in the Stanley Cup playoffs.
