Chicago ended up having one of the bloodiest Fourth of July's in the nation over the weekend. When the smoke cleared, 10 people were killed and another 54 wounded. One of those killed was a seven-year-old boy.
They are not pretty to look at, and as the temperatures continue to climb, they won't smell too good, either. We're talking about Boston's leftover snow piles, some of them as tall as a three-story building.
