While a sudden cold snap has made it cold enough for snow, to usher in more of the spirit of the season, snow was brought into Golden Gate Park to add to the 84th annual holiday tree lighting ceremony on Dec. 5.
It’s an annual problem as seasonal as Jingle Bells – spend ages decorating the Christmas tree, stand back to admire it then find garlands hanging forlornly and Christmas tree lights, dense on one side and sparse on the other. Now a solution exists.

Rockefeller Center is a popular sightseeing destination, and as the holiday season approaches, locals and tourists alike will head over to see the spectacular decorations. This week Rockefeller Center's 80th annual tree lighting will take place.
Despite unseasonably warm weekend weather, it had started to look a lot like Christmas in Mississauga. The festivities kicked off on Saturday evening, with a big party for the tree lighting ceremony, inside the city's new square.
