France was ready and had scheduled to strike Syria's chemical weapons sites at 3am on September 1 before Obama decided to get approval from Congress to take military action.

In his latest interview the Syrian president has said that Syria has weapons more sophisticated than its chemical stockpiles which can “blind Israel.”
