For the past 18 years, three young men sat in prison for crimes many thought they were wrongly accused of. In lieu of a new trial, Damien Echols, Jason Baldwin and Jessie Misskelley Jr. entered plea bargains which turned them into free men on Friday.

DNA testing is currently underway on behalf of the defense for Damien Echols, Jason Baldwin, and Jessie Misskelley. The three men were convicted as teenagers of the triple homicides of three 8-year-old boys in West Memphis, Arkansas.

On Saturday, March 26, British MMA fighter Dan Hardy is hosting a post-fight party to benefit three men who are awaiting an evidentiary hearing, resulting from appeals of their 1994 homicide convictions. The event will be at El Corazón in Seattle.

The Craighead County Court confirmed that briefs were filed yesterday and today on behalf of three men convicted of the 1993 murders of three 8-year old boys. The men were teenagers at the time of their convictions.
