Montreal - Three young men were killed after being struck by a VIA Rail train in Montreal early Sunday morning. It is thought that they may have been in the area to spray graffiti.

Quebec - A VIA train bound for Montreal derailed early Thursday morning, leaving a locomotive tipped on its side and two homes seriously damaged from the impact.

VIA Rail halted train service as the engineers strike became a reality. On Friday at noon the Teamsters Canada Rail Conference walked off the job, leaving Canadian travellers scrambling for alternate routes.

Starbucks began selling its new "Via" instant coffee online Tuesday, and the company says it will start shipping products in the next two weeks. It will cost $1 per cup.

Starbucks is coming out with Via, an instant coffee. The coffee giant plans to announce the launch next week. It could be on sale at your local cafe as early as next month.
