U.S. stocks have worst 2nd quarter start since Great Depression

New York - United States stock markets had the worst 2nd quarter start since the Great Depression. The S&P 500 closed down more that 2.2 percent on Monday its worst start in April since 1932 according to the Bespoke Investment Group.

Dow Jones breaks through 26,000 but ends lower January 16

New York - Just in the past seven trading days, the Dow Jones Industrial Average (DJIA) rose from 25,000 all the way to over 26,000 for a brief period on January 16 but gave back all its gains and ended up below its open at the close.
