Strengthening T.S. Chris remaining stationary off East Coast

Tropical Storm Chris is remaining stationary, just 215 miles off the coast of North Carolina today, but its winds are strengthening - as expected- in preparation for Chris becoming a hurricane.

T.S. Chris to become Hurricane — Warning out for Maritimes

Tropical Storm Chris is expected to be upgraded by Monday, July 9, to a Category 1 Hurricane, according to the National Hurricane Center. Chris is gaining strength and could impact the coastal U.S. on up to possibly the Canadian Maritimes.
