Education minister Line Beauchamp is expected to meet Monday with two student groups in an effort to end the 10-week long student protests over tuition fee increases.


Several student associations from Universities and CEGEPs in Quebec have rejected the tentative deal reached with the government that would end a 13-week strike.

Students in Quebec, Canada, are to vote on a new plan aimed at ending a 12-week strike prompted by proposal to raise university tuition fees.
