Fresh off the Canadian figure skating championships in Moncton, N.B., Skate Canada has unveiled its teams for the world championships and the Four Continents competition.


Mississauga, Ont., will play first-time host to the 2013 Canadian figure skating championships. Skate Canada says the championships will be held Jan. 13-20 at the Hershey Centre, which hosted Skate Canada International last October.


Pittsburgh Penguins star Sidney Crosby skated with his teammates for the first time in more than two months Friday but remains bothered by concussion-like symptoms.

In Cambodia, the country's first skate park is helping street children gain confidence.

Crosby, limited for weeks to on-ice work with other injured players, practised with his teammates Thursday at the Penguins' suburban practice rink, only the third time he's skated with them since he last played on Dec. 5.
