Persian percussion with kabbalah-like lyrics is what some might refer to as world music "fusion." Yet to composer David Garner the better word to use to describe it is "hybrid."
The composer and his work - "one of the neat things about computer technology today is that musicians and composers can write music and have it printed out in music note form," said David Garner who also teaches at the SF Conservatory of Music.
