SF to pay $15 million to family of woman killed by city truck

San Francisco - The husband and family of a San Francisco woman who was struck and killed by a city truck last year while sunbathing with her baby in a park will receive $15.1 million in a settlement approved Tuesday.

The Board of Supervisors voted today to outlaw the use of Styrofoam and other polystyrene products by city restaurants and to effectively decriminalize the use, sale and cultivation of marijuana by adults.
