Canadians are used to hearing their country ranks among the world's best places to live, but new research suggests that quality of life can depend a lot on where you live.

In the 25 years since his original Man in Motion Tour, Canadian Paralympian and activist Rick Hansen has had an astonishing impact in raising awareness of spinal cord injury (SCI) -- his various foundations have raised $252 million for research and improving quality of life for those with an SCI.

A report from the CIBC says the quality of jobs in Canada worsened last year as more people turned to lower paying positions or became self employed.
