2017 sees significant increase in deaths of American cops

According to the National Law Enforcement Officers Memorial Fund, there has been a dramatic increase in police officer deaths in 2017 over 2016. On Wednesday, an NYPD officer was ambushed and shot to death by a man described as a schizophrenic cop-hater.
