Most 11-year-olds have no idea where they are going to be around noon on the first day of the New Year but Adam Mills in not the average kid. Adam plans on jumping into Lake Ontario to raise money for World Vision's water project in Tanzania.

The largest Polar Bear Dip in Canada took place this afternoon in Oakville, Ontario raising $150,000 for water projects in Africa with 700 brave souls frolicking in Lake Ontario for the 26th anniversary of the Courage Brother's Polar Bear Dip.

Every year hundreds of people ring in the new year by jumping into the ice-cold water during the Courage Polar Bear Dip at Coronation Park in Oakville, Ontario. The yearly event raises funds for World Vision Canada to fund clean water projects.
