Sony has released a brief teaser video in regards to its next-generation console known as the Playstation 4 in which the console will actually be revealed at E3.

In a new video, an introduction has been given to the Dual Shock 4 controller for the Playstation 4 console which has yet to be revealed.

Bungie, the creator of the popular "Halo" games, talked about its newest title "Destiny" which will be available for the Playstation 4.

At Sony's Playstation 4 launch event in New York on February 20, the console's basic controller known as the DualShock4 was revealed.

At Sony's PlayStation 4 launch event, it was explained and demonstrated that the console will have video sharing in the form of recording & uploading or live-streaming with an actual audience.

A YouTube video from IGN Entertainment interviews various video game development companies in regards to the importance of Sony's Playstation 4 console.

Since the release of the Microsoft Xbox 360 and the PlayStation 3, the two biggest console gaming companies have been largely resting on their laurels. It appears the long wait for a new system from either of these two companies is over.

There have been news of a recent patent filed by Sony Entertainment of Japan. There is speculation that it could have an affect on the Playstation 4 console which is under development.

"A PS4 will be launched by Sony but not until at least 2010 claims the Vice President of Technology for Sony Computer Entertainment Europe," Paul Holman.
