A journalist in Myanmar was detained by police Friday after he posted a satirical image on Facebook that depicted renewed hostilities between government forces and an ethnic rebel group in the country's northeastern Shan State, reports say.

World famous photojournalist Christopher Morris has been robbed twice in one day whilst in Detroit. The thieves stole $15,000 worth of camera equipment. Ironically, Morris was on assignment for a positive piece on Detroit and the Jeep brand recovery.

In a landmark decision, a jury awarded photojournalist, Daniel Morel, $1.2 million (£740,000) for infringement of copyright. The sum will be paid by defendants Agence France-Presse and Getty Images who used his photographs without asking his permission.
