Philly Pops trying to replace conductor due to expensive contract
Philadelphia - The Philadelphia Orchestra is looking to end a more than 30-year relationship with its longtime conductor, Peter Nero. The orchestra, which is facing bankruptcy, said the artistic director was too expensive.
