Footage allegedly showing Syrian soldiers torturing a rebel soldier in the suburbs of Damascus was recently posted to YouTube. The video showed the Syrian soldiers beating the man lying on the floor with his hands tied behind his back.

A new poll on peace in the Middle East reveals that a majority of Israelis and half of Palestinians are in support of a permanent peace settlement. The deal would reportedly include a Jewish and a Palestinian state formed along the 1967 lines.
