Bloemfontein - The oldest still-serving member of South Africa’s elite paratroops, Major Hans Human, has been a paratrooper all his life, whether as a National Serviceman or a member of the Reserve Force. He’s been jumping out of aeroplanes for more than 47 years.

Paratrooper dies in training exercise in Florida

Paratrooper dies during training exercise after dodging a power line and landing in a nearby Florida lake. Despite efforts of local fishermen to try and find him, it took the efforts of police divers to find the downed jumper, who was confirmed dead.
