Pizza chain Papa John’s says it’s investigating a mysterious “pizza explosion” in one of its recycling bins in Scotland, after pictures of the overflowing dough went viral on social media site, Twitter.
Papa John's faces a $250 million class-action for sending its customers unsolicited text messages. The customers joined in a class-action allege that in 2010, Papa John's franchises sent them a total of 500,000 text spam that advertised pizza deals.
Papa John's CEO John Schnatter says that with Obama having won the election, and with no hope of repeal of his health care reform, employees may have to pay the cost with reduced hours. Twitter and Facebook users have threatened to boycott Papa John's.
