A Senate committee began 11 days of hearings on Wednesday on the federal government's controversial omnibus crime bill.


The Senate committee reviewing the government's omnibus crime bill Monday passed amendments introduced by the Conservatives, confirming the government's desire to change parts of the controversial bill.
