Obama administration bans offshore oil drilling on Atlantic Coast

In a major reversal, the Obama administration said on Tuesday it will bar offshore oil drilling along the Atlantic Coast of the United States. The move was cheered by environmentalists and is consistent with Obama's climate change policies.
