Wild boars moving into urban areas has become a global problem

Listed on the World Conservation Union’s most invasive species list, wild boars are thriving across the world. Their numbers have swelled to the point that in some cities, they have become a dangerous nuisance.

Asian carp were imported to the United States in the 1970's to control algae in aquaculture ponds. But much like the mongoose that was imported to the Hawaii islands to control rats, the carp proliferated and are now an invasive, nuisance species.

He was just fed up with the dog's incessant barking. That is what Aaron Maenke, 26 of Bloomington, MN told police when questioned. Earlier this year Jessie, a two year old black lab was discovered foaming at the mouth. The vet confirmed poisoning.
