Jamie Koe of Yukon and Northwest Territories joined Ontario, Alberta and Manitoba in the playoffs at the Canadian men's curling championship. The Territories beat B.C.'s Jim Cotter 8-3 to capture the fourth and final playoff berth.


Satellite services company Telesat says it plans to spend $40 million to expand and modernize the broadband equipment and infrastructure serving Nunavut, the Northwest Territories and Yukon.


The foursome representing both Yukon and Northwest Territories need all the stealth they can muster Saturday in a rematch with Alberta, skipped by Jamie Koe's older brother Kevin.


Manitoba's Rob Fowler won the bronze medal at the Canadian men's curling championship with an 8-7 win in an extra end over Jamie Koe of Yukon and Northwest Territories.


The Northwest Territories Power Corp. plans to bill the Department of National Defence and Joint Task Force North for repairs to a hydro transmission line brought down by a military helicopter.
