The Washington Wizards have reached a trade agreement with the New Orleans Hornets that would send Rashard Lewis and the Wizards' #46 draft pick to New Orleans for Emeka Okafor and Trevor Ariza.

New York - ESPN is reporting that the New Orleans Hornets won the 2012 draft lottery Wednesday night and will pick #1 in the NBA Draft on June 28.

ESPN is reporting that New Orleans Saints owner, Tom Benson, is the new owner of the New Orleans Hornets. The team said on Twitter Friday that they are "thrilled" to announce "Tom Benson as the new owner of the New Orleans @Hornets (Twitter handle)!"

New Orleans - New Orleans took a tough loss in game five, and looked like they could not bounce back to win this game. Los Angeles was just ore physical and looked like they were ore hungry as the game got late and it came to close out time.

Los Angeles - Kobe Bryant was questionable for this game after he rolled his ankle in game four. With Kobe hurt the Hornets looked like they could have an advantage, but the Lakers played a great team game to pull off the 106-90 victory to take the series lead.

New Orleans - Each team has now won two games with each team winning one game at home and on the road. The Hornets played a near perfect game last night as they pulled off a big win to even the series up and give themselves to close the series out on their home floor.

New Orleans - The Lakers lost game one in a blowout fashion, and in game three on the Hornets home court they return the favor. With both teas looking to take the 2-1 advantage, the Lakers got a shoot in the arm from Pau Gasol to get the 100-86 victory.

Los Angeles - The Los Angeles Lakers took a tough loss in game one with their fans turning on them a booing them at the end of the game. The Lakers bounced back this game two win over their fans and cut the pressure down of going into game two down 0-2.

Los Angeles - The Hornets started out the season on fire, but fell off during the season to get in as the seventh seed. Without one of their All-Stars in David West nobody really gave New Orleans a chance, but today they played with a chip on their shoulder.

New York - The Knicks took a three game road trip going 1-3 only beating the Miami Heat 91-86, and losing to the Cleveland Cavs 115-109 and the Orlando Magic 116-110. This loss to the Knicks puts the Hornets on a three game losing streak.
