Every year on the second Saturday in July people in Laguna Niguel, California track down to Amtrak in order to moon the trains. The annual Mooning of Amtrak started 30 years ago and is said to have originated in a bar.
The yearly ritual of mooning Amtrak trains as they whip through Laguna Niguel began 30 years ago when a patron of a bar on the right side of the tracks offered to buy drinks for anyone who would moon the next train to come along.
