Suquamish - Homeowners learning their homes were once used as meth labs is an increasingly large problem. Officials shut down the meth labs and the homes often end up back on the market with no proper cleaning done.

"There is no drug better suited to making horrible decisions about your children than methamphetamine, which keeps you awake for days and then when you crash it's like the sleep of a coma, during which you have no idea what's happening with those kids."

On any given day, one can flip open a newspaper and see some crime-related story that is connected to methamphetamine. It might be an arrest, an investigation, a shut-down of an illegal lab, or sadly, death.

The drug trade has a new location for cooking up meth. Motel and hotel rooms are a cheap alternative for on the go drug makers. They can mix up their next batch of product in just a few hours leaving behind the toxins that can harm you.
