University staff and students carry out tests to uncover the origins of what appears to be a mummified mermaid.
An investigation by St George's University and Horniman Museum in London has finally revealed how mermen and mermaid relics (sometimes referred to as "monkey fish") may have been made.
The figurative glass – or mermaid cup -- was definitely half empty for Starbucks customers Wednesday, when mysterious closures plagued caffeine-needy commuters nationwide. "Less than 500" locations opened late because overnight maintenance took longer than usual due to "water pressure issues," Starbucks spokesman Jim Olson told ABC News. Twitter and other media reports indicate that stores were closed on the east coast in Florida, New Jersey and New York as well as Indiana, Kentucky, Ohio, Pennsylvania, and South Dakota.
