An urban skier on the city streets of Marquette, Michigan, who launched off a ramp while performing a rail slide, became stuck on a pole as he exited the jump, leaving him hanging above the ground with his legs dangling below him.

Northern Michigan University, (NMU), was shut down this morning due to an anonymous threat. As a result all Marquette Area Public Schools were placed on lock-down even though the threat did not include them.

The West Virginia Mountaineers had quite a scare put in them in Morgantown against the Marquette Golden Eagles. The Golden Eagles led most of the 2nd half, falling in the last few minutes.

The no.23 Wisconsin Badgers kept the Marquette Golden Eagles at bay to get the win at the Kohl Center in Madison, Wisconsin.
