A rally organized by the National Medical Marijuana Coalition took place in Lansing Michigan. Hundreds of protesters took part in the rally against medical marijuana discrimination and the abuse of power by legal officials in the state.

Vermont Governor Pete Shumlin has signed a bill into law that will authorize four medical marijuana dispensaries to operate licensed businesses in the state to dispense marijuana and marijuana-related supplies to registered medical marijuana patients.
Saint Paul -
House Representatives in the Minnesota Legislature have proposed a bill that will open the door for resident farmers to grow medical marijuana for resale to dispensaries in states which have legalized the use and sale of marijuana for medical conditions.
