Canada-U.S. border could remain closed until end of year

It may be many more months before the Canadian-I.S. border reopens like it was in the "good old days." Because of the COVID-19 pandemic, borders once wide open are closed to non-essential travel, affecting the lives of many people on both sides.

Alberta asks public for consultations on fracking and water use

Edmonton - In a surprising move, Environment Minister Diana McQueen announced that the Alberta government would engage the public in consultations (February 19 - March 21) province-wide on the controversial hydraulic fracking practice and water use in Alberta.
