Kyrgyzstan parliament votes to close Manas NATO airbase

Kyrgyzstan's parliament has voted to close a US air base in its territory which is vital for Washington's military operations in Afghanistan. Only one of the 79 parliamentarians voted against cancelling the lease for the vital Manas NATO airbase.
