A new website asks Earthlings to help analyze radio signals from outer space to help in the search for extraterrestrial life.

Scientists using NASA's Kepler space telescope say they have found two planets orbiting a distant star -- and say the planets are the first ever that are the size of Earth or smaller. That could be critical in the search for extraterrestrial life.

The European Space Agency is planning to explore Jupiter and its moons by launching a space probe to the solar system's largest planet in 2022, in the hopes of learning more about whether life may exist outside of Earth.
