Police in Lewiston, Maine are investigating the thefts of two area restaurants. It wasn't money, food, dishes or silverware that was taken, just hundreds of gallons of used cooking oil.

Balcony Jumper Brings More Trouble to Police, and His Mother's Home

Last week's balcony jumper, who was arrested and then released from custody on personal recognizance, kept police busy in a 14 hour standoff. His mother's house was riddled with tear gas bullets before he surrendered. He is, once again, back in custody.
