Photo Essay: Kitesurfing on Tybee Creek Special

Tybee Island - Kitesurfing, or kiteboarding, has become a popular extreme sport and kitesurfers were ripping through the water, and flying high in the air, on Tybee Creek in coastal Georgia. It's so popular that Jean Chretien, former PM of Canada, tried to learn it.

Every year people enter the water by the billions and they get out without a care or concern other than not getting pulled under by a riptide. Still, there are other dangers in the water to concern people.
