Op-Ed: Slick lawyer to appeal for man who murdered 3 RCMP officers

A lawyer from the Quebec law firm of Gagne and Roy, Joelle Roy, is taking it upon herself to go to the rescue of killer Justin Bourque. You remember him, he shot 3 RCMP officers dead, hunted and ambushed them, in Moncton in June of 2014.

Canadian who shot dead 3 Mounties gets 75 years with no parole

A 24-year-old man who crept about Moncton, New Brunswick, shooting and killing 3 RCMP officers and wounding 2 others, has been sentenced to 75 years with no chance of parole. In effect, Justin Bourque will in all likelihood never again be a free man.

Moncton shooting suspect Justin Bourque apprehended by RCMP

Moncton - At 12:10 a.m. AT Friday, the manhunt came to an end. Justin Bourque, the Moncton resident suspected of killing three Canadian police officers and wounding two others, is in police custody.
