The New York Jets signed Plaxico Burress right out of jail, and he had to sit for a couple of weeks due to an ankle injury. Last night he made his Jets debut and scored a touchdown in the process to help the Jets get their first win of the pre-season.

Fresh out of prison the question was which team would take a chance on a 34-year old that has not played football in nearly two years. The answer was clear Sunday morning when the Jets gave him a one-year deal with the team.
