U Conn Cornerback Jasper Howard Stabbed On Campus

Jasper Howard, a U Conn cornerback, was stabbed on Sunday morning after 12:30 a.m. on Hillside Road near the center of campus. U Conn officials are holding a press conference that began at 2:30 p.m. today to discuss the incident.

Wildlife experts in Jasper National Park are worrying about the future of the park's dwindling caribou herds.


The federal government has given a green light to a new paid tourist attraction in Alberta's Jasper National Park called the Glacier Discovery Walk.


Alberta's Kevin Koe will meet Ontario's Glenn Howard in the final at the Canadian men's curling championship Sunday.


Glenn Howard worked overtime to establish yet another record at the Brier. Ontario's 7-5 win in an extra end over Saskatchewan on Tuesday marked 175 career games at the Brier for Howard, surpassing the previous record set by his older brother Russ.


Ontario's Glenn Howard has clinched a playoff berth at the Canadian men's curling championship. Howard doubled Prince Edward Island 10-5 on Wednesday to improve to 8-1. Alberta's Kevin Koe was 7-1 with a game to play at night.
