The UK is sending the powerful nuclear submarine "HMS Talent" to the Falkland/Malvinas Islands as a “a show of strength” to Argentina amid a growing diplomatic wrangle over the future of the South Atlantic islands.

British Prime Minister David Cameron accused Argentina of "colonialism" because of its insistence on reclaiming the Falkland/Malvinas and announced that he had convened the National Security Council of his country to address the situation of the islands.
