Mary Simon will not run again to be the president of Inuit Tapiriit Kanatami. Simon has been president of Canada's national Inuit organization since 2006.


After years of being under the guide of the Aboriginal Peoples Television Network, Inuit are pushing for their own regional television network.

Inuit hunters from Greenland have been protesting in the Danish capital Copenhagen over the decision by a major department store to stop selling seal products.
