Texas ruling denies immigrant children birth certificates

San Antonio - A Texas judge has ruled that the matricula consular, or I.D. card issued by Mexican Consulates cannot be used as a form of identification in getting a birth certificate for U.S.-born children.

San Antonio - Parents and students in a Texas city are protesting an initiative concerning the school's ID badges. Two schools are currently in a pilot program that involves new student IDs that contain tracking chips.

White House mulls idea of mandatory ID cards for Web users
