After a long wait for the season to start, week one will finally be in the books after Monday night's games. It was a crazy first week of the NFL season.

Next season is a clean slate and an opportunity for many to prove that they are Super Bowl worthy. Some teams will attempt to live up to expectations, while others will set out to prove their critics wrong.

Buffalo - Home sweet home – well not anymore. The Bills hoped a return to Ralph Wilson Stadium would help the team rally and bounce back into the win column, but instead the Tennessee Titans used its rushing game to roll to a 23-17 road victory.

Houston - The Houston Texans, who have lost their starting and 2nd string quarterbacks for the season, have signed a veteran replacement coming out of retirement. And it's not Brett Favre.

Houston - Adrian Foster came into the game being their only offensive threat, but he got help today from Ben Tate. The Cleveland Browns have been struggling with the run on defense, and the Houston Texans took advantage to keep their win streak going.

Houston - With Andre Johnson and Mario Williams missing for the Houston Texans, it seemed like the Texans may miss a beat. They have came back this week a got a big win against a hot Tennessee Titans team.

Houston - Just a day after the passing of their beloved owner Al Davis, the Oakland Raiders took the field and showed their respect by getting a 25-20 victory. Al Davis's son Mark Davis made the trip and released tears of joy after the Raiders got the victory.

Houston - The Houston Texans have had trouble closing games out in the fourth quarter, but today the defense stepped up and slammed the door on any break down. The Pittsburgh Steelers had their shots, but the Texans defense took them away.

Houston - The question coming into the game was, could Kerry Collins lead the high-powered Colts offense against the Texans up and coming defense. The question was answered as the Texans came out on top with a 34-7 victory.
