Johanesburg - South African activist Denis Goldberg, one of Nelson Mandela's closest colleagues in the struggle against apartheid, has died aged 87, his foundation announced on Thursday.

Los Angeles - Facebook number two Sheryl Sandberg, whose husband David Goldberg died suddenly last month, said Wednesday in an emotional post that in mourning she had become sadder and wiser."I have lived thirty years in these thirty days. I am thirty years sadder.
