Coram - Just a few days ago we were enjoying temperatures of 40°F, but for NW Montana this felt oddly uncomfortable and not like Christmas at all. Finally the skies delivered, and a major snowstorm ushered in the first hint of Christmas.

West Glacier - Just east of the Avalanche Creek Campground in Glacier National Park is the Trail of the Cedars. Although at just 0.8 of a mile it can hardly be called a hike, this canopied stroll is one of the prettiest in the park.

West Glacier - The road to Glacier National Park in NW Montana is often under appreciated. From Coram to West Glacier lies seven miles of beauty. The views may not be as spectacular as inside the park itself, but they're still worthy of notice.

Hungry Horse - A rare summer day in springtime provided an early opportunity to snap an area of NW Montana considered one of the gateways to Glacier National Park, Hungry Horse dam.
